DAVE GAHAN of DEPECHE MODE
Tuxedo jacket, vest, and bib evening shirt, all by Tom Ford for Gucci.
Before boy bands with powderpuff glasses and media-generated dance moves, there was Depeche Mode and Dave Gahan. Their theatrical synthesized sound that ruled through the '80s and '90s will once again be filtering through the airwaves. After rehab for a heroin addiction, Gahan found a strength that is propelling him forward. The group have a new album, Exciter, dropping in May. "Now I feel like I'm firing on all cylinders," says Gahan. He's listening to No More Shall We Part, the not-yet-released latest from Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, for added fuel.
